Momentum continues to build for Pham as the campaign heads into the final stretch
(Fountain Valley, CA)-Dr. Long Pham, currently a Member of the Orange County Board of Education, successful entrepreneur and nuclear engineer today received the endorsement of California Small Business Association (CSBA). With job growth such an important issue in this election, Pham’s background as a small businessman and deep commitment to rebuilding our economy by reining in state government taxes and regulations is continuing to build support across the district.
“I am honored to receive the support of CSBA and am looking forward to joining the fight to make California job friendly again,” said Dr. Pham. “We need to stop the Sacramento spending spree and make it easier for our entrepreneurs to get this economy moving forward again. I will fight every day so our children will continue to have the same opportunities we did when we came to this country and were blessed with freedom.”
Dr. Pham’s public service background is a testament to conservative principles. He has served as an elected member of the Orange County Board of Education since 2008 and was appointed by former Governor Pete Wilson to the Regulatory Reform Roundtable Task Force in 1996, which enabled him to repeal 3900 outdated regulations and simplify over 1700 more. From being called in to help fix the Space Shuttle after the Challenger disaster to fighting to cut burdensome regulations on small businesses for Governor Wilson on the Regulatory Reform Roundtable Task Force, Long Pham is a proven leader. He was elected nationwide as Vice President of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers from 2000-2003.
Dr. Pham and his wife Mary have four children and make their home in Fountain Valley. Two of his children currently serve in the United States Military.
